Do you have prior Alpha/Beta Testing Experiences? (Not needed but feel free to brag)
No i do not, but it is something that i have always wanted to do, I realize the job is not about "playing" the game but more of playing aspects of the game, looking for glitches/bugs, and criticizing things like the GUI / user interface.

What are your computers specs? (ram, processor, graphics card, operating system, etc.)
Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz, Nvidia GTX 650 1024 MB, 6 gigs of DDR3 ram, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

Have something else you wish to voice? (Optional)
I have found a few safe spots on isolated that make it so you cannot get hurt/ die. I will be looking for more safe spots/ glitches and i will post them for you guys.

I have also made a video on how to install NMRiH/ Make a server on it/ and fix errors on it (This video can be found here: http://www.nomoreroominhell.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9931). I think that I would make a good fit because I know that its not all about playing the game, but more of learning about every part of the game and writing whats good/ bad and why and reporting back to you guys.

These are a few safe-spots that I found (today) that I think should be taken care of.

Good to see some progress. Higher end system of course but staff should still be interested. I would highly recommend sticking around, system like yours would be valuable to test with.

Really!? I always thought my rig was about mid-range budget and I have

Intel i5 3570k

8 gig ram

ECS p67 mobo (currently not crossfired)

PowerColor Radeon HD 7870 MYST. Edition (Tahiti LE) 2GB

500gig HDD (soon will be adding another 250 SSD MAYBE)

750w Seasonic PSU

I actually just upgraded my cpu and GPU though :P

Also, out of curiosity you were almost sounding like it was a bad thing he had a good rig, any reason why?

I hate hijacking threads, but I do it so rarely, I hope people don't mind.

Really, the team is looking for varying systems. They already have quite nice ones, so they want to see how it will run on varying machines. That being said, I can't comment to deeply as to how the team picks testers. One thing is for certain, if a tester as a very high end machine, the likelihood of the public players running on a similar system is very slim (due to the cost). At the end of the day, they want the majority bugs squashed as quickly as possible. If the main target is reasonable systems that play source games well, then logically one would think that they would pick those people more readily. Example of this is the "Invisible Hand" bug. After many months is was determined to be a issue with the blood tech system running on less than DirectX 9. High end system wouldn't really be able to spot that (even mine) unless the game was forced to be running under a lower DirectX level. You would be surprised to see how many users are still playing on a card that's at least 5 years old (Nvidia 6 to 8th generation). Before people get the wrong idea (and I get a message from staff), I can't stress enough that they want active people that can be trusted. Hardware seems to be almost secondary, but if it's between two candidates, having a spare card around (that's maybe $20) could go some way to boost your application. I have quite a few cards laying around (GT 8600GT, GeForce 210, 560Ti, and older), in addition to servers. On a kind of related note, I do think they should select more testers. Things are ramping up for 1.07, and I think they are interested in selecting more to ensure the game comes out bug free. Stay active, and update your application. If you add/remove/change anything, post something stating so in your thread (mine might still be around, take a look at that).

As for your system Ab, I think it would be considered on the higher end of the spectrum. Quad with 8GB ram and a solid card to boast, that would be reaching the end of the reasonable range (but still well within). If someone has the idea to post an application with a GTX Titan (currently running for $1,000), that would be funny and may never see the light of day. I run an first generation i3, 560Ti and 4GB ram, well within most people's price range.

You were not getting poisoned, If you aim down the sights with a pistol for long enough, you go into focus mode, thats what the screen effect was, not getting poisoned.
