Users who aren't experiencing the 100% cpu bug should still see improved performance. What kind of hardware are you running?

Out of curiousity -- can you start up the server with +developer 1 (or -dev) and see what appears in console right before it starts using 100% CPU?

If it's this, then I may have an idea what's causing it:

[NAV LOAD] Battlefron load complete. Loading flow..

Still experiencing crashing on certain maps.

Running a CentOS 6.2 system

Duo Duel core @ 3.2GHZ

16GB Ram

2X 1TB HDD's Raid 0/1

100 MB/s dedicated line.

I have yet to catch which map, but it's the NMO maps.

The patch wasn't made to fix EVERY crash, just improve stability. Any kind of core dumps or debug logs from the crashes would certainly be helpful to diagnose what's happening.

Come next time the server is empty I will slap the debug feature on and wait for the next crash.

How would I go about doing core dumps? It's been a while since I've used linux. KDump or something like that?

There should be (I think?) a core.i486 or a core file in the srcds directory if you run srcds with the "-debug" flag, and if you add "-condebug" then it will log all console output to a console.log file inside of nmrih (so nmrih/console.log) that can be helpful as well.

After running in to a crash (After getting some things sorted first)

I have found out. Nothing. Honestly.

Running the debug and condebug nothing is shown.

http://paste.ubuntu.com/1219260/

It just stops, nothing seems to be causing it.

If it's this, then I may have an idea what's causing it:

My server is also using 100% of a CPU core and this are the last console entries:

[NAV LOAD] Area load complete. Loading connections..

[NAV LOAD] Connection load complete. Loading hiding spots..

[NAV LOAD] Hiding spot load complete. Loading occupy times..

[NAV LOAD] Occupy time load complete. Loading battlefronts..

[NAV LOAD] Battlefron load complete. Loading flow..

Adding master server 208.64.200.52:27011

Adding master server 208.64.200.65:27015

Connection to Steam servers successful.

VAC secure mode is activated.

OS: Debian Squeeze

CPU: IntelĀ® Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz

RAM: 16 GB
