As soon as I saw that I thought of Shadow Complex. That game looks damn outstanding for a side scroller. Shadow Complex was just pain fun and this looks to be right up it's alley. I have my slim Xbox 360 behind my monitor with an HDMI switch so I can always jump from my comp to my 360 if I get bored or am processing something that may take a bit of time. It's nice. I will absolutely pick that game up!

just pain fun

It hurts so good! Just kidding, looks like a fun game, detailed for a side scroller, though.

Chair made Shadow Complex. They are the ones that made Infinity Blade on iOS. This is by Tequila Works, which is by all means, a true statement.

Shadow Complex sucked.

The story sucked, the gameplay itself was fun and it was a sexy game for XBLA at the time.

The gameplay sucked because it would always shoot into the background when you were trying to shoot someone in front of you (and vice versa).

I never really had that issue. When I heard they basically were required to play through Super Metroid for 2 years before making the game, I was sold.

Do not judge Maxx, for he is not a man of the sea.

I kinda woulda liked to play that original Dead-Light. Prototype looked promising.

That was some pretty damn awesome lighting effects for the PS2.

Well, the flashlight is a stencil and doesn't cast shadows like in Silent Hill 2 on the Ps2, but other than that...

I also like the minimalistic Condemned/Silent-Hill-like music, and the sound design in general (except for that pathetic little squeak of that huge tentacle monster). Also yay!, 1st person.

But I guess it was not meant to be.

Hm, do any of you remember a cancelled game called "Amen - The Awakening"? I was soooo looking forward to it back in 2000, but it was cancelled after 60% were completed. :/

I never really had that issue.

I play through everything on "I Have A Massive Dick" mode and then laugh at the poor enemy placements and unbalanced mechanics.

honestly surprised maniac mansion hasn't been redone yet.

MM was the reason for me getting a C64 back in the day... I played a flash remake of it about a year ago, pretty decent and with better graphics.

Just beat Deadlight and I have to say that I really liked it.

Two negative things:

1. There is a part near the middle when he encounters someone called, "The Rat." Everything involving him is shit and detours from the fun of Zombie survival.

2. The controls got me killed numerous times. They weren't THAT bad, but sometimes stiff and unfriendly.

Otherwise, the game is freaking outstanding. I got a lot of inspiration from their simply outstanding environmental designs. I think anyone who likes Zombie games should give this a try.
