[skin]fireaxe model replacement

6 posts in this topic

heya all,

this is my first attempt at trying to compile a model for NMRIH,and so far it seems the test was successful. It is based on a firaxe model I made some times ago,and after my first plays of the mod I didn't have to think long before wondering what model I could try to compile for a first test.

some ingame pics:

There are a few problems I couldn't fix (more or less matter of lazyness sometimes :x),you can read more about these in the included txt file, there is also a backup of the vanilla model included just in case of.

from now I'll see if I can compile some more "complex" models,if my spare time allows it...ho and here's the download link before I forget :x (megaupload sometimes blocks the download for some reasons,if it happens retry it later,I'm sorry about this)

EDIT:fixed archive with working model

I just realized that the model didn't work properly,I included the default mdl file in the archive instead -.- ... anyway I fixed that and just reuploaded the file,I also added an extra download link for it (thanks reverend!) see the firt post for edited DL links.

Maxx,I believe you're the one who made the default fireaxe?Any possibilities you could give me the correct code lines refering to the $texturegroup entry in the axe QC? I think it was messed up during the decompilation process, and with proper values I could try to fix that blood subtexture thing.
