Noobbot you may have gotten a Canadian market SKS which are pinned at 5 rounds with a stud thing in the bottomof the magazine that blocks the spring from going down all the way.

Progress on The Goblin:

North Eastern arms lower receiver billet

2x double-sided 10(x2) round LAR-15 magazines

Rock River Arms Two-Stage NM trigger and lower parts kit

Magpul buttstock tube, CTR stock, MIAD Level 3 pistol grip, ASAP receiver end plate, 0.7" butt plate

Nah, I've used it now. Confirmed it's a ten round. I didn't know it was double stack though. It's about the same length as the Mosin magazine which threw me off. :(

Ah man I want to build myself an AR now. I'm thinking about buying the lower soon.

When in Vegas, do as the Romans do and shoot a Thompson M1928.

If you're ever using a computer (with a keyboard) there should NEVER be autocorrect for it....

I guess computers with keyboards are the only way to access the internet these days..

More like the Cun thread, ahahahahahah.

The way that bits falling away just under the centre (nose) hole kind of makes it look like that pumpkins got a Hitler moustache, for which I imagine Maxx was awarded extra points.

I've got 3 Reverend :) in my lifetime I've had 11 cats, I love them.

Payne - I buy them! Well, this one I built, but yeah. It's easy, once you have your PAL Restricted license you can get pretty much whatever you want.

So many people are using the 10 round LAR-15 pistol mags now that they were able to be imported, I see you're one of them!

I've got 2 of them but no coupler to attach them. I ended up with too many pinned PMAGs to rationalize replacing them all with LAR-15 mags. :(/>

Here in Vancouver there's a lot of people with really impressive collections though. This guy I met at a range out in Port Coquitlam actually has a great youtube channel where he uploads HD videos of him shooting all sorts of guns from his collection.

Really cool guy, I wish I was in the same financial state he was to be able to afford such a huge collection: http://www.youtube.com/user/hippo939

My collection is currently at 15 firearms, never thought I'd own this many guns in my life lol

the LAR-15 mags are real awesome. I actually bought my first two about 4 months before I bought the first piece of my AR15, just because I wanted to ensure I had the in case they suddenly got banned. PMAGs aren't bad but its the pinning factor that makes any mag except LAR-15 mags just seem useless.

The couplers are also really bad ass. So happy I picked a bunch up!

Nice! They tend to multiply pretty quickly. I'm up to 8 now myself!

S&W M&P9

Beretta 96FS Brigadier

2 x Yugo SKS's

Savage 64

Ruger 10/22

Norinco M4

Mossberg 500A (One of the originals! It used to be my dad's hunting shotgun in the late 60s)

I might pick up some more LAR-15 mags, they're a lot more fun at the range even if it is only 10 rounds. The coupler probably makes for quick reloads as well I bet.

All I know is that there's a lot of guns I want to get, but not nearly enough money to pay for all of them.

CanadaAmmo.com has a great looking 8.5" shotgun that's non-restricted!

They also have a non-restricted coach gun which has been out of stock for so long. I regret not picking one up.

Another one i've been looking at getting recently is a Kel-Tec RFB - Non-Restricted as well.

I suppose the one nice thing about living in Canada when it comes to firearms is not having to worry about tax stamps when it comes to barrel length.

this is my pump action shotgun, FABARM Marshall SDASS Ultra Short with spring loaded pump, heat shield, fiber optic red/green ghost ring sights

and my non-restricted CX4 Storm

Those are my answers to carbine and pump action.. I wanted to get either a Mossberg or a Remington originally but then when I saw that the FABARM came with all of those extras for the base price which was the same base price as the model of 870 I was looking at... like $750 ... I just had to get the FABARM instead.

As for the Storm, I fell in love with it the first time I used one so I was determined to get one. I even spent an extra $500 to get a custom 19" barrel made just to make it non-restricted.

speaking of coach guns, I saw a really nice tactical Stoeger side-by-side coach gun (synthetic black with picatinny rails WHAT) at my club, Target Sports. I wanted to get it, it was only $499 but I had just spent $1300 on my optics for my AR15 lol

Loving the FABARM!

I'm really interested in getting a compact shotgun with ghost ring night sights. Have you considered adding a tac-lite as well?

As for the CX4 Storm it was one of the first guns I shot when I was getting my restricted license and renting guns at the range. I really liked how light weight it was. The one I shot at the range had an aimpoint which I fell in love with pretty quickly. I was really impressed with it. Especially since it took standard Beretta pistol mags.

Speaking of Beretta I was looking at the ARX-160, but I think the planned civilian models been classified as prohibited in Canada ever since the Canadian Forces were rumored to be thinking of making it or the FN SCAR their next primary assault rifle.
