Hungry System

What is [Hungry System]?

HS is the system will hungry and get damage if u don't get some food to eat.(kind like MineCraft or DeadFrontier hungry system)

in this system, the player will need to find food and eat it.

if player didn't eat something, then player will get damage

after that ,if player still didn't eat something and he will DEAD.

the food maybe will be apple,cooks,pie(<--too big),bread kind of these thing

this maybe can be a mode or system =|

hungry mode <--sound strange O_o

hungry system <--maybe to hard in game?

There's no room in this game for that, it's implied that you get rescued and fed when you finish a map. Baking pies while zombies are everywhere seems ridiculous- even if optional.

you would change your opinion when you see Eskill make zombie soup by beating them to death with his wooden laddle.

I don't see any problem with that.....(Looks at minecraft and kills a thousand of creepers & Zombies while baking a cake)

Minecraft is based around long-term survival, though. The goal of this game is to escape a situation right now. Unless someone hosts a longterm RP server set in a city, then I can't imagine a purpose for this that isn't unnecessary depth that is just an annoyance (oh I'm hungry, great, now I'm dying on top of the virus and the zombies). It just adds up to too much stuff to manage.

MeatShake pretty much nailed it. Right now, it seems like NMRiH is aiming more for a mission based gameplay in a zombie scenario. AKA a GTFO of here gameplay.

Maybe if some day it evolves into having long term gamemodes such as City RP or whatever might you have, then yeah, I guess hunger would be an obvious "feature".

Yeah, this game isn't long enough for hunger to develop. I mean, the average game is, what, less than 20 mins, if you're going slow? I imagine that I could ignore being mildly hungry for 20 minutes in order to survive a zombie attack. I doubt we're going to see a map where we all play as people crippled by hunger that have to crawl around and eat before leaving the safe room, because that wouldn't be much fun. At BEST, I could see this being an objective, like "We won't make it to the island without food, we need to find 3 crates of food and bring them back to the boat."

ITT: New meat attacking new meat.

But, yeah, it's been discussed before. Many times. I think the general consensus was that collecting food would be a good map objective but not a good gameplay mechanic.

Since this game is going for a realistic approach hunger wouldn't cut it. Think of it in a rp scenario.

Guy1: Hurry up man extraction is this way zombies are right behind us!!!!

guy2: Hold on im getting hungry.*pulls out candy bar*

Guy1:WTF!!!!! Theres no time!!! Extraction is leaving!

Guy2: Don't judge me!

Yeahh..... I don't think it would work out.

While this is indeed an amazing idea, in its current statis NMRIH wouldn't work with this <_<

BUT! If they implant the Survival mode, in which we will have to stay put for a period of time, this may work.

I can imagine a team of two people sneaking out of the barricade to retrieve food so that they don't starve.

Another problem with this is that game's rounds only last 30 minutes at most, which is far from enough time for a human to starve.

A solution to this may be satating in the maps background that the survivours have been there for days and are starting to starve, but then it would only make sense for them to need one meal. (Mabye two for Wally :lol: )

On Paper, this seems like an excellent Idea, I would love to see it imputted into the game somhow, if possible.
