I'd like to start off with:

-Ive read about the inevitable implementation of zombie torsos, I'm wondering if every single zombie model will have a crawling/torso variant?

-Will child zombies have a crawling/torso variant?

-Will there be more child zombie models implemented?

-If possible, does the development team have any plans to add more complex AI behavior, for example: have zombies seek out and break through barricaded windows, then reach or climb through?

-If possible, does the development team have any plans on adding zombies with "special" immunities/statistics, ex: firefighter zombies, helmet and bulletproof vest zombies?

-Will any "special" attire zombies as mentioned above have crawling/torso variants?

How about a Chef zombie. He is just like a normal zombie, except he's a chef. I like the firefighter zombie idea, but he shouldn't be immune to fire (lolwut?). His helmet is not bullet proof either.

As far as armored zombies. There's not really a point since in realsm all zombies are immune besides shots to the head. I just don't like the idea of armored zombies much, because what zombie makes sure his equipment is fastened on? It's too gamey.

I think we need variants of the typical zombie/torso. Just every day average guys. Lots of them, too.

This isn't suggestions per say, this is supposed to be questions regarding zombies to developers.

and as the armored zombie concept goes, if you are wearing a helmet and gear and get infected, or mauled, you will keep the gear once undead, does the zombie have enough intelligence to remove the gear?

"because what zombie makes sure his equipment is fastened on? It's too gamey." could be reverse-argued with:

"because what zombie makes sure his equipment is taken off? It's too gamey."

I agree to an extent, Vlad. It's true. Maybe their helm should be kind of on a slant. Still at the same time typical military helmets aren't bullet proof. Maybe the ones issued in the sandbox, but like a typical swat team helmet is just for blunt force.

EDIT:

We need zombies that move in bodybags!

That would be interesting. Maybe like a stationary type of enemy.

I never hinted at the helmets being bulletproof, only the vest, as for the helmet; it could however stop all blunt melee damage, and to a certain extent sharp melee weapons.

There is some time between being infected and turning into a zombie, there is plenty of time for the infected individual to remove his own gear, and/or shoot himself.

There need to be more dead military officers around if ya' ask me!

These are some good questions, I would like to know too.
