I Was trying to make a sort of Alan wake esque bridge for a Rural map, but it looks kind of shit at the moment.

Nah man, I think they went public with 1.03 patch. You should've told us to not include them if you didn't want them public yet. :P

Thats really really weird, I dont ever remember uploading them to the SVN.

Hello nmrih mapping forum! After having a lot of fun in the new survival mode, i figured id try making a map for it.

(i will add sprites to the lights sooner or later)

This warehouse type place is going to be the starting area for the survivors. I'm planning on having a decent amount of weapons and munitions for the players to start with, but enough to where they will soon be forced to leave the starting area and have to search through other abandoned buildings throughout the city streets for ammo and weapons.

Yeah, except for unfinished maps anything that's on SVN gets put into the releases. Wayyyyyyy too much stuff for me to sort through what should or shouldn't get released :P

hey thanks! So far it's a pretty dense urban area with apartments and sky scrapers. when it comes to size(based off of what i sketched out on paper),it's looking like it will take up a little more than 1/4 of hammers grid size. If you're unfamiliar with hammer it will have about 6 different blocks of buildings.

Urban and industrial can be unique, it's just a matter of how you do it. I've been to many very unique places in big cities that fall within that "unoriginal" category.

Suburbs and residential areas are harder to do with Source largely because of the unobstructed eyeline, long draw distances, and larger open areas. Though, I will say we have something in the works nonetheless and it'll rock your socks when we show it!
