You know what'd be a good idea? The ability for dead players to act as a sort of force of nature. As in, subtly affect the environment after they're dead to increase the atmosphere for players. If they don't feel like it, and would rather just spectate, then they're free to. But if they feel like playing more of a part in the game even though they're dead, they could... say... make a burst of thunder clap in the night sky. Or activate a series of zombie moans from a dark alleyway. Maybe cause a half-eaten corpse to fall out of a window.

To the player, it'd just seem like nice little details placed in the map at random. But to the spectators, it'd be a way to play a part in the game even after their death.

I think when we add that to our mod, spectators will simply spam those thunder sounds like crazy, kill players with falling corpses, and other unwanted stuff.

My opinion is that we stick to the regular spectator system, or do something like "Hidden" did (security camera view). I also like the "security room" idea (when you die, you spawn in a room full of monitors, servers and donuts)

Ghost Master! Brilliant game :D

Seriously the problem with making spectating to exciting is you remove some of the drive to stay alive!

If those are the kinds of people playing NMRiH, then the game's fucked anyway. That's the same as griefing.

Do you seriously think professors and other mature people are going to play NMRiH, not trying to put anyone down here but zombies tend to appeal to a certain audience :P

Of course players will try and grief the game, it's our job to make sure there are mechanics in place to minimize it. I'd be very suprised if any mod in the HL community had a "mature" player base, Insurgency must be one of the most mature, and look at all the griefing that happened on realease because we forgot to implement measures. Some people go out of their way to ruin it for others, no matter how mature a community is. Look at MyGot ...

Well, look at it this way.

If most people are going to grief, then the game's screwed. If most people are going to... y'know... PLAY the game, then the feature I suggested won't be spammed. In that case, shouldn't it be put in?

I vote for put the feature in. If its too annoying due to idiots spamming it, measures other than excluding it can be use to limit the idiots.

I'll be satisfied with anything that's not zombie master's spectator. Its a real pain dying early and having to spectate for 12 minutes!

Um why not make the thunder have a timer? 1 minute in between same with the corpse and make the corpse give no damage or something

i was about to suggest that, maybe every switch has a charge on it and it needs to recharge fully to use, the more it's used the slower it recharged if not used in often it recharges a little quicker

Yeah, that'd work. I stand by what I said... spectators would have loads of fun trying specific combinations to scare the shit out of live players. It's work well if mappers implemented it correctly, and it wouldn't take much effort either. I imagine it'd be similar to making traps in ZM.

As far as i know they wanted to implement tv´s or something like that to watch the players and also some table games ? would be nice to have a little casino :)

Hello friend, I want to advise you on a way to relax and earn some money playing games. The topic of online gambling games has always been interesting. I played lottery for a long time, but then switched to online casinos, including the game  Lucha Libre 2 Slot . The graphics are well developed, and the overall animation is very interesting. Lucha Libre 2 slot promises a lot, and it delivers. Test your warrior spirit and try this game in online casinos.
