Good Sci-Fi movies?

Probably all of them if I have time. Solaris sounds good. I might get into Battlestar Galactica since I never really seen it before.

if you do prepare to watch all four seaons. its such an awesome show.

Very true. I still haven't seen the movies, though.

Also, the miniseries that starts off the show comes with Season 1. I didn't realize this when I bought the first season, so I got the miniseries separately at the same time.

Equilibrium...bloody brilliant B movie

The "martial arts" in that movie might be the stupidest thing Ive ever seen

I seriously loved Solaris (the new one). It really tripped me the fuck out the first time I saw it.

Pitch Black, starring Vin Diesel was very awesome to me. I'd call it a classic I used to watch as a kid on Sci-Fi channel with their Sci-Fi movies that came on every Saturday, which was also Taco Bell day as well which was perfect for the mood!

It recently is coming on TV and I saw it a few weeks ago and I want to see it again. About aliens that dwell in the dark. It is also the movie that begun the Chronicles of Riddick series but I personally like Pitch Black as a complete separate movie.

Very Sci-Fi, alien planet, funny moments that only Sci-Fi/Thriller,Suspense movies would have. I really like my favorite part of that movie... lol

There is also Stargate (the movie) but it's alright.

Does anyone remember Phantom? It can remind you of Indiana Jones with its ancient stuff in it or the Mummy with all that crazy, cryptic ancient stuff. I remember it was so awesome as a young kid but it seems like it never existed now! hehe

Pandorum was actually pretty cool if you take it for what it is.

Its got that guy from 3:10 to Yuma and he does a pretty good job with his role.

WHAT!

Take it away and it's just 90 minutes of Christian Bale acting grizzled.

Bill,

Greetings. Received your letter. Glad to hear my letter to you in ‘99 made a difference. When do you graduate? Yeah, get me a subscription to Radar Magazine. What is it about? Know any Asian girls willing to correspond? Send pictures. You can photocopy 5 on 1 page or send ‘em singular. Nothing scenic though. Send some of girls in bikinis. Do you go clubbing? Seen any good movies? Saw 3:10 to Yuma the other day. It was an OK Western. Didn’t do too good at the box office though. Do you have family? I’m youngest of five. That’s all for now. Take it E/Z write when you get a chance.

Your friend,

Richard

He's also down with asian girls.

But he's on the fence with the whole radar magazine deal.

i wonder if "Jacob's Ladder" falls into the scifi/psychological horror category due to the chemical experimentation in the movie. either way it's got delightfully freaky shit in it.

on a side note 1 more day till Wolfman, i hope it'll be the werewolf equivalent of the Dracula movie only without Keanu and Winona.

Uhhhhhh, no thanks.

You are dumb. That's one of the best movies of all time, science fiction or otherwise.

I hated the ending to it. It became a silent film after he warped. And he became... a giant nuclear baby.

Well there was a sequel "2010 Odyssey two." It would make more sense though if you read the books.
