Weapon Suggestion Thread

I don't know if it's realistic but a Toz-34 over under shotgun would be awesome.

A Beretta Over/Under shotgun has already been made for the mod.

wtf is K-mart?

and also, i mentioned house, some people might have one at home but not everybody owns a hunting knife, most people have no use for such a thing. as i can see, you have one, so that just proves it can be found in a residence, do you keep it lying around or do you keep it stashed somewhere?

or do you keep it on you most of the time?

Kmart=kmart400wb.jpg

I usually keep it in my desk drawer or I throw it in the trunk of my car.

k mart used to be the shit (as in best of hillbilly department stores) but now its full of people that make me wonder why they are wasting their life working there, and why they dont move up to bigger and better things (target)

and M1 should be in the game, but then again, i have never ever seen one with my two eye (except behind glass in museums)

I think the M4 or the M16 is planned. The older build of NMRiH had an M16A2 and an MP5A3.

As I remember it, from the old NMRIH bible was the following?

- M16A2 rifle

- M4 Rifle

- MP5A3 SMG

- AR15 rifle (technically semi-automatic only)

Mention the old, and you get gang-raped by Maxx himself, so don't mention it.

Quite simply a Brick

singlebrick.jpg

It would be a single use throwable weapon that would take up 1 unit out of the 10 units of inventory space. On their own they don't weigh much, but when carried in bulk they can seriously drain your stamina. The Brick would arc when thrown so some adjustment would be needed to score a headshot and the brick is unusable once thrown as they shatter and break apart on impact with a zombie or suface. They would be the only weapon in the mod that is unlimited or otherwise in very large quantity that can be picked up from Brick piles or from Brick Stacks like this one

Well that or piles of bricks left over from construction sites or just broken debris from buildings. It would look weird if you found several bricks inside an office with walls of plywood and plaster

A count of bricks?

What do you mean Pavel?

If you mean how many in a stack, I'd reckon either unlimited or very large amounts, 100 or so bricks in a stack.

If there were piles of bricks I'd probably think it would be like 10 or 20 in a pile. There in large number yes, but they're difficult to kill zombies with, they arc and killing them by hitting their head is a tall order at anything over 10 or 20 feet

Or

If you mean the amount you carry I think it would be a maximum of 10, as there's only 10 inventory slots

True, I can sorta see your point to that.

I can see it being used up top a very tall building with a brick stack and people just chucking unlimited amounts of bricks at zombies. I can see it working with unlimited bricks if it was done really well, ie the bricks were very difficult to actually kill with. Perhaps a very limited Brick pile then that disappears after X amount of bricks have been taken?

but, the fact that you are throwing bricks at zombies form atop a building, wouldn't that bring a lot of unwanted attention to yourself? i mean, you would eventually be swarmed. so i don't see it as a highly camp able thing, if you know what I'm saying.

and yes the brick idea is a great idea, it should also be a melee weapon, strong, slow, and short range, (as short as unarmed) not a very effective melee weapon, but beats being unarmed. unless your Russian.

the only thing i disagree with is the suggestion of them shattering on impact, i say they should have a probability of shattering, but not 100% (about 20% or maybe even less sounds fair to me) being able to pick them back up would make them worth implementing i find, to counter spamming of the world model of the bricks, maybe they would dissipate after a few seconds of being thrown and untouched, or they should dissipate when a set number of bricks have been thrown into the world.
