Aren't those all licensed titles? Any mods mentioned at all? If not it's not so bad then.

Mods will probably be mentioned in the back, that's what they usually do.

I've seen a shit load of mods mentioned in their back sessions though, once we get a playable build, invite them for a test so we can get HUGE publicity.

In the mod context, they would have to be saying something awful for it to be bad publicity.

They are now already releasing the march 2008 version??

Would be cool to see this mod featured in the magazine :)

Well, considering that ZP:S just came out, they probably have enough material to write a zombie mod column. Email Brett Todd, their Homebrew column guy, and ask him if he's willing to do a column or article on it. I doubt it would be NMRiH exclusive, but they could mention all the zombie mods, which would get NMRiH some publicity.

Theres not much chance of NMRiH coming out in the next few months :)

It takes longer than that after we have a team of testers, and we are not at that stage yet!

I agree with Sidra. Good idea.

I've never even heard of Dead Island, but goddamn does it look incredible!

There was a thread a while back in Off-Topic about it.

That Dead Island looks nice from the screenshots.. And if PC Gamer is going to release something about zombie mods, No More Room In Hell should be one of those to be mentioned. :D

Wait... people didn't see me around here so they naturally assumed I had died? You people are messed up! :P

As this is my first post here for the day, and I have no other place to specifically mention this... and this is a thread about advertising/interviews, I feel I should mention 3pidemiC just gave me the green light to host a little offline interview with the team. Now I'm not sure if he has someone specific in mind, but the goal will be that, similar to an online interview, questions will be posted by forum members, and the best ones will be asked to the team (or team member). Then they will answer all the questions once the list has been compiled/sorted/thinned.

That way, it's like the Developer's Blogs, but you guys get more of your own idea what's going on based on what you ask. I will start an official thread for this topic soon, so don't waste time posting questions here. I just need to know all the facts from 3pidemiC first, so you guys know who you're questioning.

EDIT: That lasted all of 5 seconds. I left here and then created a proper thread...

Since PC Gamer's next issue is a zombie themed one, the mod column will most likely be too (though, maybe not). Email Brett Todd (homebrew@pcgamer.com) with screens and whatnot of the mod to impress the guy and I bet he'll throw in a mention. Though, a dev - of course, should do this.
