To help get out the mod faster...

... maybe you could use some stock textures then when we're all satisfied and played the beta version you could go back to customs and stuff and give it a revamp. :huh:

I think the mod team is going for quality, not speed, they want to release a mod not like all the other source zombie mods, but one thats a complete conversion. You know what I mean.

Dudeeaterkiller is right. We will inevitably have to use some HL2 textures in place, but we want to use as much of our own stuff as possible.

hey i didnt sy you shouldnt use mostly stock textures just get a beta out with stocks then give it a revamp thats all

The first visual impression of a mod is very important,but since the product is free,theres no real need for it.

On the other hand the mod is in development for over 5 years now so,who cares if it takes another 1 or 2...

...since the community has found other reasons to lurk in here.

Do you want shitty, fast made zombie mod, (Zombie mod source -_-) Or epically well made could be made into retail masterpiece that has a bucket of win about to dump all over your computer.

This projects most time draining feature is the AI and finding good balance for gameplay, the actual environments, weapons etc are not really going to hold us back that much if at all.
