favorite war movie?

21 posts in this topic

Just wondering about the personal preferances of this forum. What are your favorite war movies? I dont care how many, just list em. Mine are DEFINATLY

Black Hawk Down: Great protrayal of the conflict. Very good action movie, plus some really sad parts. Don't know what else to say about it other than its my favorite war movie.

The Thin Red Line: A great movie for its more philiosphical stand point. A lot of awesome quotes to take from it. The characters are all well rounded and likeable and the ending was sad. Not what most people were expecting but a GREAT movie.

Touché.

It's an epic struggle of good versus evil for the fate of the world and a monkey.

'The Trench' is also pretty damn good...the cast are very good IMO...for those who don't know it, it's about the soldiers experiences up till the battle of the somme...there's very little action in it so I suppose it's more of a drama than a war film but the setting fits.
