Who do I ask for permission to have access to the map files?

I'd love to have access to the official objective vmfs but I can't talk to the original creators that have left the team such as Hypnosis. Is there any other way that I can get access? Thanks :)

From my standard knowledge in regards to NMRiH, I don't think that's allowed. Don't take my word for it and do ask the level designers. They might help you out.

Can't decompile Hynosis' map, I believe he put a lock on it

I'm not looking to copy any parts of the map, I use them to make speedrunning versions so we don't have to reset to a bad path every time :P

We were planning on packaging on some .vmfs on a certain date but we can always release a select few with Hammer in the next Steam update. We just need to make sure that the source files for certain maps are fully up to sync with what we have.

That would be great :D

I found a way to get past the decompile lock on the maps but they return fractured (a bunch of missing models)

You can decompile it but can't open it in Hammer. That's because they lock it by adding a broken entity/texture or delete part of the code
