[REL] Hitman Silverballer

recently got into modding NMRiH and did a quick model replacement. This is the "Silverballer" from the Hitman games replacing the 1911 on default animations. Already released this for L4D2 and CSS and it's still one of my favorite models, so why not? Anyway, enjoy!

This package includes a custom subdirectory, gameinfo.txt and sound script, so be sure to make backups. (It seems the game forces sounds to load from the VPK, which is why I needed the script.)

Credits:

arby26 - textures (gun), long slide edit

Doktor haus - rigging, compiling, icon, sounds

K1CHWA - textures (grips), texture edits (sights)

Yogensia - mode,s UV maps, textures (thumb safety, slide release, trigger)

Estuine - models, UV maps (base 1911)

Nightmare Mutant, Freesound.org: Kno-SFX, Department64, Fatson - sounds

Oh God, don't tell me the rest of that community is going to start overflowing here. I've had such a terribly nasty past with them. I will seriously cry of K1CHWA or Funreal find their way here.

But back on topic, nice work.

You know, I wonder if NMRiH has ever considered workshop intergration. I can't recall what the dev's thoughts on the matter were. I mean, on one hand they love good custom content. But on the other, they don't always look too kindly on those who pervert their game's principles. (I am thinking of the infinite ammo mods and the like) Which could very well be more common of an occurrence if there was proper integration.

I would like to use this server-side.

I run custom player skins already with sm_skinchooser.

Can this be used that way? I ask because this looks like a client-side mod/mut.
