New map made by me and durkhaz. We hope you'll enjoy it! Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Here are some pro tips:
Zombie upgrades stack.
ONLY the zombies YOU spawn (by opening gates) will, upon death, recieve the upgrades and be served to the enemy team.
The firetraps (gascans) burn for 3 minutes.
Ghost zombies are immune to fire.
The runner button sends runners to the opposing team.
You can have a maximum of 10 runners (they do not count towards the 50 zombies alive limit).
The panic button appears after 2 min. It can only be used once.
When you buy weapons you always get 4.
Ammo is unlimited after you have bought it.
Trophies give you 1gold/second.
Grenades can be thrown to the opposing team's side killing trophies and infected players.
If you tip the 1000 gold price over, you can realign it by clicking mouse1 and then forward. Clicking e, mouse2 or jumping should make you exit.

Yes, the respawn is working perfectly. However, there still is a rare bug with the team balance - but we're working on that. It's playable as it is now.

Not especially thrilled by the seriously tangential gameplay...But dat brushwork man.

I think it makes things more interesting if the enemy is (somewhat) kept in the dark about your own status. Even if we decided to add it, where would we put it? An additional display would just confuse new people in my opinion.

I think that player can easily understand rules is important. Because strategy is very important in this game.

It is an ideal that Player can understand a rule to some extent, Even if a they can't read English.



I think.. If player can look enemy team score, player easily understand rules.


For example.

Enemy team's gold = 40. it's become 0 after that. and Zombies explosion when player kill.

Player will realize. Enemy team used gold and they send explosive zombies to our area.

I show it to players by motd.

However not enough. Many players do not read even motd. and player's have various race( JP / CN / TW / TH / RU / GB / etc.. ).

Enemy's score board will help to player understand rules.

I don't think such a placement would help people understand. It would just add more confusion. Also, I think it's a bit like cheating if you can see the enemy's scoreboard. You can still figure out what they are doing if you pay attention, spy on their vending machines etc. Having their scoreboard visible would make it too easy.

I agree. We have tried to explain the basics in-game using posters. But if you don't know English it's a problem of course. Maybe we could make a Japanese version? If you help us translate... Do you have Photoshop? Then I could send you the pictures and you can translate them, then I put them in-game.

Outstanding map, adds a new style of game play to NMRIH. Gotta love that 1k gold unlockable too, had fun ripping zombies apart with it. High quality map, dedicated a 8 slot server just for it!

Thanks, glad you like it! I noticed your server has unlimited ammo enabled and was wondering why you made that decision. I'm not trying to tell you how to host our map or anything - I just want to know why, because this could be important for us. Is the current ammo mechanic too annoying? Should we change something?

A sourcemod plugin would be best

I completely agree. I was thinking about making one for it, where you just point at a sign and it displays the text in your selected language in chat. But I'm not sure if I'll find the time to do that.

Well, I guess we could triple the drop amount of the ammo everytime you press it. That should make it a lot less fiddly.

The general idea behind the machines is, that you have an area you have to keep clear at all cost, because otherwise you're cut off from your ammo supply. That's why they're all in one place.

By the way, I played in infinity ammo server when first play.
Chainsaw is very strong weapon. but chainsaw become useless weapon when enemy team send explosive zombie! It's like nmo_hellgate's explosive zombie. Of course the melee weapon becomes similar, too. Explosive zombie disable specific weapon very naturally. World in game was changed drastically.
It's a great way!

If you send pictures to me, I will translate to japanese.

It won't take long at all if we send you the psd's (photoshop files) and you translate those. We can just turn those into textures within a minute or so - no big deal. But this only makes sense for JP only servers, otherwise that effort is wasted. It's up to you to decide.

I'm confused, where did you get the chainsaw from? Spawning in weapons on this map sounds silly. And yeah, we reused some stuff from hellgate.

But now that you're mentioning the chainsaw, I'm wondering why we haven't added it to the weapon machine.

As much as I think this game needs more seriously-minded maps, I'd be a lair if I didn't say it needed more stuff like this too. Every good game needs a few community maps that break away from the core game a bit, it adds variety at the very least. And hey, it's better to have something thought out, original and aesthetically pleasing than to have...you know... more of those maps.

I have not photoshop. but I will try edit it with the use of freeware. Please send psd's to me.

Sorry to confuse you. I got chainsaw with the use of Weapon menu plugin( https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=212705&highlight=nmrih ). Now I think chainsaw is bored.
