New Game ModesIF

I was thinking that game could use a bit of more game types... I came up with a few on my own:

Versus:

Everyone is a survivor except one player. The one player is a zombie tries to infect everyone. While survivors survive for 10 minutes until the rescue comes. For every minute the zombie player gets a AI partner. This is a very simple game mode nothing complicated about it.

Command:

A survival or objective mission will have one player who spawns the zombies. Each zombie type he/she wants to spawn will have points need to spawn it. I'd say something like this:

- Normal Infected 3 Points

- Runner 5 Points

- Children 9 Points

You may add to this list as you add more zombie types int he future.

In survival missions the "commander" will get certain amount of points each round (Maybe +50 per Round?). In objective missions the "commander" will get start off with points to spawn the first set of zombies (Maybe 100?). Then for each 10 seconds the players are delayed from finishing the objectives the "commander" receives 10 points maybe. This is a bit more complex but it would make for an exciting game mode.

Life:

This is basicly a DayZ or WarZ-like game mode. Where we have hunger/thirst, and we find supplies throughout the map. Surviving as long as we can. The maps don't have to be as large though. As long as they are cool to explore, don't cause a lot of lag through rendering and are fun!

Zombie Games:

Yes I am talking about a NMRIH version of... hunger games! We all are in the center of a map we rush to get supplies in the middle or flee into the map. Then we find supplies in the map. While we kill and watch out for each other, we also need to watch out for the zombies. And maybe to decrease downtime... Dead tributes can play as zombies! It would be a very fun mode. Also maybe every 5 minutes a vote comes up (FOR DEAD PLAYERS ONLY) to choose a disaster such as:

- 2x Zombies - Twice as much zombies

- Horde of Runners - Spawns a group of sprinting Zombies in one area

- Horde of Children - Spawns a group of child zombies in one area

- Low Supplies - Amount of supplies in the map decrease for the time being

- Flashlight Out - Flashlight wears out for the time being

- Military Assault - A fire-team of soldiers come and hunt you

If there is no dead players at the time then the server will do a "Roll the Dice" or "Spin the Wheel" to choose a random disaster.

So what do you guys think? Don't be afraid to add more or change some of my ideas. As long as it makes the game fun!

You ever heard of left 4 dead you should try it. This is a HL2 engine and some things cannot be done (Maxx cant do it) lol.

HL2 engine...? Doesn't it run on Source Engine like Team Fortress 2? :L

I highly doubt we'll do game modes with Player Controlled zombies.

Other than that we have plenty of ideas for possible new gamemodes; both internally, and from what the community suggested and are actually doing in their own servers.
