12 posts in this topic

Ok PLEASE READ before replying!

1. I've been playing the game for a while now, but Its very rare to find health packs, with the exception of sometimes I find in supply craftes from FEMA.

2. I AM NOT TALKING about the health box thingy, but PORTABLE health packs like bandages

3. I dont know if its more are for other people, or its jsut my playing style.

So is this just for me, or its it everyone?

You can also just get 20 kills get a life, kill yourself, revive again with full health, or just kill yourself before the wave ends and revive, its annoying seeing people use health packs and such already at wave 1-4...

If we had more health packs, what reason would there be for us to avoid getting hurt to begin with? Sometimes you have to be shoved from the nest before you can learn how to fly. Sink or swim, baby, because it's a zombie-eat-survivor world out there and you need to walk the walk if your going to talk the talk. A rolling stone gather no moss, and you can't see the forest if your looking at the trees, because Rome wasn't built in a day. You got to believe in your self, you don't need no health pack! You're a strong, independent survivor! Health packs are just a way for the man to keep the other man down! And the noobs might take your health packs, or your pills, or your life, but they can never take YOUR FREEDOM! So reach for the stars, kid, because even if you miss, you'll still be floating in the dead of space, where no one can hear you scream.

Can I get my Oscar now?

The game is about NOT dieing, not abusing a system.

I'd have to say that the distinctive lack of "health packs" as you call them, is what make this game fun. I mean sure, if you didn't have to use a melee weapon ever it wouldn't be fun either, but the fact that you have to keep away from the zombies as much as you do makes this game even better. Even if you have infinite ammo, the fact that there are no "health packs" makes you worry.

Yes, use your heads more, people! The following philosophies may help you realize something about the mind:

Old habits die hard.

Die hard or literally die hard.

Excitement is like pain: it feels very extravagant.

Call of Duty is an expansion upon another like The Sims were. They don't teach you to have a good time.

Be sorry; it may be your only chance to get out of your mental shit.

Thank you for the feedback. However, melee system is a bit weird for me, but I have read and I am getting better. And Firearms are hard to get before FEMA comes, due to lack of ammo. I always try to shoot head shots.

still think its better though, alot people cant seem to not die and barely and there isn't kits for everyone, and people use them straight away and there isn't much supplies for the next waves especially for long maps (tho i guess thats what supply drops are for) but still right now i think, its best to, just die, more possible to actually finish the survival maps with eh... "new players". but you know, if thats how it is, what ever floats your boat.

Yeah, but that are issues with player's not design. But there should be one medkit for one player on map, no more beacuse that would make game to easy.

Think of it as this: The game would have no medkits and you would mostly die, but there are a few. Be grateful there are a few. Hoard them if you can.

I always grab the first kits I see more than flashlights or guns. If I come across another one then fuck all and use it on myself if needed. Waste not.

Also its nice because if your uber skillz makes you stay alive you can be a gut guy and give it to some poor guy about to have his arse in need of sewing.

Why would get one per player when we could just randomly/at set position bump up your health +20 one time during a round. Same effect.

The health kits aren't a neccesity, nor a certianty. Play the game as if they didnt exist, use them when they do. With caution.
