new gameplay ?(PvP)

15 posts in this topic

i was thinking about letting the player control the character even after turning into a zombie:

1_this well make team work much more important for the players

2_this well make players care about each other

3_this well make the game harder

4_this well add a new whole gameplay for the game

of course the server can disable it or enable at any time cause we while expect players dying on purpose just to pvp

Been discussed a lot, but this is a co-op game. Other games as already took care of PvP (ZPS L4D)

Contagion is a similiar game being in the works, might want to check that out. (for the PvP)

I'm sorry to say this, but I am 100% against your idea. These player-controlled zombies would destroy the entire game. Zombies with human-ish behavior and intelligence are beyond co-op boundaries.

This would just be essentially ZPS or Contagion then.

Exactly. While the NMRiH team and the ZP:S team are basically intertwined, they have thought about it before. The answer was no, and I have the feeling it's going to stay that way. Might want to go check out the hundreds of other threads exactly like this.

no it's not ZP:S my idea was that to make the team afraid of letting someone get infected and start helping each other more and mybe let the game more hardcore

Which is just like ZP:S ^

Keep your team alive so you don't have to kill the undead version of them later.

Nope, it'd still be ZP:S

<Le Picture Table>

That's so nice of you. You made a table to explain it to them, see I wouldn't have been so nice. I might save that somewhere in case another thread comes up with this exact same thought process.
