  1. UPDATED!! - TEXTURES NOW WORK - First realistic (In my opinion) map that I made for nmrih. Every 2 waves you'll gain a supply drop, because of how packed it can get after wave 3/4. This is my second map for nmrih, i'd love feedback! If anyone is going to do anything with the map, edit/modify/improve-upon/place onto a server or anything like that, please tell me first.     It is believed that gene therapy could heal an infection. Yet no one has understood what it feels like to use a gene therapy without actually having experienced it. For the record, gene therapy has not only caused many side effects, and also damages a person's psychological health. Those who survives the effect, restore from infection completely; those didn't, will suffer a greater damage than becoming the dead. This map is a story of a group of crews trying to survive after a catastrophic incident. While it's clear that infectious matters are involved, details about the incident still remained unknown to them. They don't know what is waiting for them ahead. Nevertheless, they decided to reach out for help. After having successfully contacted a rescue team and been told to stay still, they took the gene therapy as a solution for the infection. The higher the dimension is the closer to victory. -Kill zombies to "expand" and secure the dimension. The more this dimension is widened, the clearer the reality will be. -If the number of existing zombies is too high, the dimension will "collapse" and falls. You will hear heartbeats as an indication of the zombie number. If heartbeat speeds up, it means zombie number is increasing. Sustain the heartbeat at a low rate. -When the dimension expands, everyone at the same level will "jump" up together. However, when the dimension collapses, there is no guarantee that people at the same level will go down together and those who didn't succeed the action will be stuck at a temporary dimension fault. The fault happens because you are in an area where the lower dimension does not cover (dimensions are larger than the dimensions below it) . So make sure when the heartbeat gets out of control, you will go back to the area where you dimension-jump up from. If you happen to be stuck at the fault, only survivors who successfully jumped down could reverse the dimension and get back up to meet at the dimension you are stuck at. -See the gun shapes on walls? These are free ammo! (9mm only) Press E on them. Though they have cool-down time of 30 seconds. You are supposed to get an m92fs on spawn. If not, let me know. It'd be a bug. Need help with testing: -If you are stuck in an object after expand/collapse, report the spot you are at. =======================Spoiler alert===================== Known bug: -When you play the map on a server and reach the final dimension, you will see boss npc T-pose. This is normal to servers, because the npc animations are client-sided, you can see the animations only when you play it solo. Therefore I want to address this to all mappers: Don't expect npcs to perform any sort of custom animation on a server platform, they will T-pose! And yes, I did packrat the animation template model which, unfortunately, didn't solve the problem.
  3. Sky High is based on top of tall buildings in the middle of a cloudy fog. There are 3 points that you can selectively choose to defend. The map is very spacious and open. Plenty of running around and large mob-filled zones. It also has a ton of rain pouring down on you to add a cool surrounding.   4. nms_medication is my most favourite map so far, currently holds a secret room (which is where the supply drop is - good luck finding it). Also has a random gun spawner ( the creepy room with the doll). A safezone that requires you to keep it intact or you'll lose the power to the lights. (They are regain-able). Overall this is my most fun map to make. I was considering using this map as a objective map, but i ended up just having fun with it. Won't be a while till i make an objective map, untill i get a good idea of one. (currently thinking something around an evil character - i.e the weird creature in this map). Maybe i'll go on something with that idea for an objective map, but for now... I'm going to make a ton of survival maps for fun. Stay tuned! ^-^ Anyway I hope you like! - Love feedback too!   5. This is a simple layout maze however, there is a twist. On the start of the game, the lights turn off. There is a secret button somewhere around the map that you must find in order to restore the lights. You will need the lights to handle the hordes of horror as well as knowing your way around. Need ideas for objectives, setting, etc... wanna do something different and create it as immersive as possible, dynamic lights, thrilling and sitting-on-edge moments, all that cool jazz. tell me your thoughts and POST SUGGESTIONS AND CRITICISM. hope to hear soon haha wanna start relatively soon.
  8. I'm working on a 2D Horror game with RPG elements. It's in a VERY early alpha state and has been in the works for over a year now. Started it in 9/8/12. I'm seeking assistance in some things I'll edit this when more appears. If I could do it myself I would, but hey, we all have our limitations. -I need someone who can voice a demonic child -I need someone who can voice a child -I need someone who can voice a demon (deep voice required) -I need someone who can voice a woman -I need someone who can voice a crack whore (Not kidding this game is ****ed up) -I need someone who can voice a pimp (any will do so if you have no balls then you may qualify (that means high voiced males included) and like I said this game is ****ed up) Once someone accepts to voice one of the following, if not more, you will need to give an example to show what you got so I can decide if it's good enough. Monsters and crack whores and pimps, oh my! RPG elements and demons and 6 kilos of cocaine, oh my! Partying like a rock star and tending to the rose garden and wondering who the daddy is, oh my! Welcome to (place holder title) Tale of Horror. A group of kids that were partying like there's no tomorrow, end up in a new world where the dead wander for eternity. Lost and confused they must fight their way through to remember what they were doing, who they are, and how to get back to their world. But it won't be easy, as the ruler and god of this new world has different intentions for them. Can they escape from this new found nightmare? Only you the player can decide upon that. Features -High difficulty (veterans and hardcore gamers unite and cheer as you will have something to test your skills against once more) -Event changing decisions ( 'For every decision there is a sacrifice to be made.' ) -RPG elements (level up and fight in turn based battles but beware no grinding is possible!) -Highly detailed graphics (they may be 2D but they will be detailed compared to your typical low end 2D game) -Creepy and tension building music (for the p***bags at least and not us vet horror players) -****ed up situation (as explained above this is not a typical horror game with monsters and lanterns) -The monsters chase you (they will come and when they do come it'll be nasty, horrifying, and life scaring)

The only way to kill the infected is bodily dismemberment. This is why using melee weapons are heavily encouraged! (Slice em' dead!) However, there are many usable guns you can scavenge. The main storyline is intense & heartwarming. The side quests are exciting and fun. Exploring the vast open world of Deathland will surely have you playing for hours! You don't have to go from one main quest to the next. You can do a main quest, then go out and explore, level up, do an optional side quest, then come back and do another main quest. You are in control. Now I don't see anything great here but others may actually like it.

For if they did the rest of the human race could be put into jeopardy. Sadly that is what is. I lost contact with my superior officer and the rest of the soldiers a few hours ago. Seeing that I was still fine gave me hope of immunity. A cure. A chance to save the others. But everytime I find someone it's too late and their the mindless rage filled monsters this virus turns them into. They are still somewhat human, a shot to the head takes them down instantly and a few rounds in the chest will put em down as well. Sadly I lost all my equipment when I tried to escape a horde of them. Now I got my fists. It is time for me to escape...somehow.
