  1. Pretty close to final, but WIP. Also, the scale of some of the sprites have been fixed since this pic. Got a good amount of secrets / ways to change up gameplay hidden in there..

  3. It's been so long since I've touched hammer, let alone post something on here. Just a heads up I've recently recovered my files for HillsideHotel & Hospitality(v3/final). The goal is for Hillside Hotel to be released by halloween
  4. +1 That playtest i did made me consider releasing my map, i have to go back and rework things and redesign before i consider dropping a link
  5. Things are looking good boys, although I caved in and added an entire new area today (see main post). I still have a ton to do in the next day or two, but some sort of beta version is definitely likely 10/31
  6. Haha indeed it was from the prefab topic ;] unfortunately i basically had to rebuild the whole thing from scratch. These pics are a bit outdated, im thinking about posting some updated shots of the map before the 31st
  7. Pretty good Progress made today (Mostly due to some inspiration from durkhaz nmo reveal). Still a ton to do, but I will not likely be sharing any more screens/progress from now until release. However, Check out the OP for updated screens.

  9. Thanks guys, having a bit of an issue. I'm pretty rusty because I haven't mapped for some months. I'm 99% sure it has to do with the skybox, but I have this: Basically white props and things I assume are related to cubemaps. So my normal reaction is that I need to manually build cubemaps, however it does not fix the issue. My console basically gives me this same error as the compiler *** Error: Skybox vtf files for skybox/sky_flooded_hdr weren't compiled with the same size texture and/or same flags! Can't load skybox file skybox/sky_flooded_hdr to build the default cubemap! Any Suggestions? Or is this just something with the actual skybox I'm using Thanks
  10. Hillside Inn *These screens are not final and are very likely to change upon release. This is an old survival map I was working on and I had decided to map the other day for the first time in a long while. So, for the past 3 days I have gutted a lot of elements of this map, optimized it, improved the flow, and adding another small area to connect the 3 zones better. If you are curious about this map, you can search some old topics in the mapping section about it. But basically it is Intended to be a semi-rural inn, but still along a major route with between a city and small town. (I need to improve the skybox, to improve this feel) Map Details Top Down view of a 'hidden' hallway that has a shoddy construction-like ramp leading down an entire floor below. This makes it much more easy for players to get between zones - WIP - The Basement of the Hotel AKA a new zone I literally just made today (WIP of course) \/ OUTDATED SCREENS \/ Some Notes..
  11. Hmm I'm actually debating on finishing a V3 version of this map. (Pictured above, is a WIP I believe) Feels like it's been so long since I've even messed around with hammer, so there's no guarantees. I know hillside is still incomplete and was definitely making progress, but had some pretty bad optimization issues if I remember. I Shall hopefully report back later today if I have news or something to share
