  1. It's been a whole month since I've put out any news on this map, haha. Redekerzone isn't dead, and I'll be releasing the map for public beta soon. So far, the biggest issue with this map has been trying to find out what exactly crashes the map when I try to generate new nav meshes. I think I've got it remedied, so stay tuned.

  5. I don't know about that. I see a vast amount more people play survival maps than I do objective. Anyhoo the map is coming alone smoothly, I'll post screenshots soon!

  7. Hello great NMRiH community, it's been awhile. I've decided to make a new thread for a new map, just to distance it from the old threads I've made in the past. I'll go back and clean those threads and Carroutenight up when I put this map out. Redeker zone is still in alpha. It's not a port, I've finally managed to gain the skill I need to make maps from scratch (YAY!). With that said though, I'm still slow when it comes to certain things such as creating a good skybox or creating a good reason for there to be playerclips where the zombies emerge from. I'll continue to update this as I go along, to include screenshots and a download link soon. Stay tuned

  10. Nope nope nope nope nope nope and nope, that map is a shitstorm of difficult to begin with. Purposefully getting infected for an achievement in regards to clutching the ending of a map? Nope nope nope nope nope, and I thought the fisticuffs achievement was gonna be a doozy
  11. There's a few servers on Gmod that feature a zombie apocalypse game mode where you can grab items and drop them into a backpack and then equip the backpack. That'd be pretty neat. It might also help that suspension of disbelief when I'm carrying two rifles and a shit ton of ammo somehow all in my pockets.

  13. I like the idea of additions to the shotguns. If there was to be another shotgun added then I might suggest either an Ithaca M37 or a Stoeger semi-automatic. Those both are civilian and would fit well into this game. I'd argue against the cosmetic variants. If there were attachments that were say... like their own items maybe? Like prop_physics_multiplayer that were similar to some of the weapon attachments I've seen in Gmod that could work. Like if you found an attachment that could work with your weapon then you could attach it.
  14. If this game went to CS style, then it wouldn't be worth playing. I don't understand why some people feel the need to make this game into a tactical team based shooter. I think this game would be much harder if the gunplay went to the style of Insurgency. I'd be down for that kind of change. This game's current gun play is far too easy. Also, this is a really good diagram. It provides a good visual, especially to the newer players.
  15. The MAC-11 would probably fit better than the 10, but what's the use of a silencer in a zombie apocalypse?
