  1. I like this idea. I don't use barricading that much with the objective mode but this would be cool to see after survival is added. I feel like barricading is a little cumbersome, especially in objective mode, but I like the one use throw-away weapon idea.

  4. Well the video doesn't work anymore thanks to YouTube bending over to copyright infringement requests. This is stupid. I want to make maps not deal with censorship.

  6. Zombie behavior is much better than 1.01. The zombies seem more like zombies, with hoarding, moving towards noises, etc. Runners still need path-finding improvement. I cant tell you how many shots I've wasted shooting at a runner that just runs right past me. As has been mentioned before, a way to have the zombies ignore players at the start of the game would help with getting new players acclimated. There have been times, especially in chinatown, where zombies will react to players readying up. They all group up by the doors and it makes it difficult for players to get out. Personally I like it when this happens. It give an idea of your actually trying to break out of a saferoom, but newer players get killed because just getting out of the saferoom sometimes requires skill and knowledge of how to play the game. Door welding NEEDS to be fixed. You have to stand in a very specific location to get it to work at all. It can be a game killer. Door codes also need to be coordinated with what is left on the paper. I once watched two players who never played the game run around broadway at the very end because the third code they needed wasn't on the sheets. You shouldn't have to memorize the door codes. I really love this game and I am excited to see what else is in store for future updates.
  7. I love this idea! I love the weapons in NMRiH and after watching their destructive reign withing Ravenholm, I want this.
  8. Im also glad to see no fat exploding zombies. They work in L3ft 4 Dead simply because Valve designed the zombies around how player play Left 4 Dead. NMRiH is a more authentic zombie experience and I think that with all of the things the player is doing within the game already, a zombie that is a walking bomb would just make for a worse experience. Wouldn't mind seeing some stumble around in the game world though. A nice change of pace.

  10. I've been following this mod for a long time, and I am super excited with the release of the beta. So I decided to roll over here and register in the forums to be a little more involved in the mod. I am loving NMRiH.
