  2. While I agree a lot on the game being much more brutal and much more hardcore, trust me the game will only be more retarded than it is if this would be a thing. I can bet my entire bank account on that. Always pick the lesser of two evils.
  3. I just hope you didn't break the skeleton or anything. I can already see the arms looking weird in certain positions. Either that or it's just that the skeleton is super shitty which I won't be that much surprised. Oh well, not too shabby.
  4. Not too shabby. Some of the reloading sounds are quite decent. I'd like to point out that the CZ reloading sounds are VERY good. Same thing with the JAE-700. Although, a lot of the firing noises and reloading noises (if not all, including the firearms mentioned above) sound too crunchy and harsh. As someone who knows (and used) firearms, this is not how firearms sound like and I do disagree with you on stating that these sounds are exactly like the real thing. I might be misjudging you on this because I've judged so from the video itself instead of listening to them in-game. I do not have the game installed so I apologize. I also noticed some of them sound a bit 'fake' and that might be due to inaccurate sources. I'd like to be corrected for anything I say though. I do agree with you that the current firearm noises in No More Room in Hell do sound very unrealistic. That has been one of the many annoying things I disliked. I'm glad you took it upon yourself to attempt to change it into something better, and I can definitely tell you that I personally think you've done a better job for *some* of the sets you've made. I like how loud the firearms sound. I'd like to mention that firearms sound different according to the frequencies, source and environment. Firearms shot from far away are different from ones shot close. Even angles sometimes matter. The same principle applies to firearms shot indoors being different to ones shot outdoors, although this will not matter to you because you are going to focus on how firearms sound outdoors as many sound designers do so. If you're using videos from the internet as base to construct your sounds, I'd advise that you select videos with proper qualities, environments and so. It's obviously better to have you base your sounds by actually trying firearms yourself, but I think that's asking too much and who knows where you live or how restricted firearms are over there. If you want examples, I recommend checking out 'Squad'. Specially since the team has military advisors and they advise them on realistic details and information. They base out a lot of their weapon design, sound, feel and performance off of reality. An alternative would be Insurgency since they get most (if not all) firearm noises to sound as real and authentic as possible. It's obviously not 100% accurate but close enough and it sounds excellent. Good job and good luck.
  5. You can do this by using SourceMod and the plug-in 'AllChat', which allows for the dead to communicate with the alive players using text.
  6. From my standard knowledge in regards to NMRiH, I don't think that's allowed. Don't take my word for it and do ask the level designers. They might help you out.
  7. Nice one. A lot better than the NMRiH hands that's for sure.

Because this guy only hacked the models into the current animations, and the models made for them are not quite that high quality compared to the newest art done for NMRiH (unless he didn't make them, which makes his job much easier). Also, new animations are made usually when adding new weapons because hacking is considered too cheap and unprofessional. It is only done when there's no other choice to go with, otherwise everything that gets added is animated from scratch (I make sure everything is unique and with good detail in it). Though from now on you may not see such a thing because I actually have retired from the team a while ago (This somewhat implies that there will frequently be more hacking considering the NMRiH team's got no animator lol).

  10. What do you mean the flashlight has no hit animation? If we're talking Player animations then it has been like that ever since alpha and it never changed. Fucking cheap DoD:S animations still on there (atleast enhanced a bit by me, which was pain for your information). If you're talking FP then that's not right at all because I've made it a lot better.
  11. Not too shabby, but the barrel doesn't seem short enough. Almost feels like the original.
  12. I'd definitely go with the entire team losing the map if one of them becomes deceased. Good idea, hopefully most of the team likes it enough that it can turn into a thing!
  13. Defending a zone in Northway with only about 5% health and every other zone dead. It was around wave 5 too and usually just 2 or 3 remain alive including myself. (This is what I get when playing in public servers with brainless people...) That was one hell of a day though. I got frustrated but I also enjoyed some of it. We eventually won the map too.
