  1. Hey guys, about .22 caliber guns. I wanted to suggest something from civilian rifles like: Kriss Vector CRB/SO or Kel-tec RDB or Microtec MSAR stg-556 ,but instead of that I would more like to see some attachments for guns like flashlights or laser sights. Also I haven't read through all 61 pages. Did anyone mentioned melee weapons degradation? I think that would be a major change in the game now. Having your kitchen knife blade broken or iron pipe bent... As for guns it would be rather hard for them to break just by shooting them, it would have to take thousands of rounds fired, just to make them more prone to jams, but not break. Different thing is if you could use guns as melee weapons when out of ammo, that would be the easiest way to damage most guns, because they're not meant to be used as hammers or bats.

  6. Hey guys. Recently I got "Some room left in hell" achievement although I haven't killed 1,6 million zombies. Is it how it's supposed to be? I did all other achievements honestly, not by some hacks like this guy: http://www.exophase.com/achievement/no-more-room-in-hell-steam/some-room-left-in-hell/ and I feel bad about this, can you remove it, because I think I didn't earn it.

  9. OMG are you guys serious? Ingram Mac-10 fires from an OPEN BOLT!!! That really means YOU CAN'T CHAMBER A ROUND because the firing pin is a part of the bolt and when the bolt is in forward position it is unable to fire. If you would put a round in the chamber manually when the bolt is opened and magazine is inserted, it would probably fell out of the chamber and if not, when fired it would result in a double feed and instant jam or even worse... Seriously do some research about this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_bolt do not listen to the guy, just observe the mechanics of the gun
  10. Since we're talking about Mac-10 is there any chance that automatic weapons in NMRIH will have a working fire mode selector switch? Not just for Ingram, MP-5 is my top concern, because I just love MP-5's, but when on a full scale zombie apocalypse I would rather switch it to single fire ;] And while about the MP-5 A3 you have the wrong model of the gun. I was thinking of some more challenging game mode for NMRIH, which I think it would be not so hard to make, something like "The Mercenaries" mode from Resident Evil 3 or "New York minute" mode from Max Payne For those who don't know what that is: You start off with a timer set on one or two minutes and it runs down, you can gain more time for killing zombies and/or completing objectives. If the timer runs out to zero you die, and If you'll manage to complete the mission, the time you've earned will be your final score. The Mercenaries mode had it done like you get more time for melee kills than from firearms, and some additional time for multiple kills. As for the multiplayer purposes if the mode would get too hard It could be resolved by making a group timer option, but it seems pointless as it's meant to be hard. Now I'm not hoping to make a full conversion of The Mercenaries, but some starting gear and npc's scattered around the map, crying out for your help would be badass too ;] Tell me what you think guys.
  13. I Am SOOOOO GLAD to hear that! Just looking at those screenshots... man, that's totally badass wicked! Not just the helocopter wreck, but all screenshots. I can't shake off that feeling of excitement and happiness. I played that a lot when I was a kid, and I remember seeing those places always from one perspective, and now having a chance to see that in first person perspective I feel almost like coming back home after many, many years. Other than that sentimental and nostalgic feeling at the same time it seems so fresh and new, like I've never seen that place before. I just can't wait to explore the place, and enjoy every small little detail of the map
  14. Hello everybody. I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I want to refer to creators of the R.P.D map. I've been tracking this mod's progress for 2 years or something like that, since I've accidentally stumbled across on a teser video of it on youtube, and I gotta say I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR IT! I'm a huge Resident Evil fan since the first part came out in 1996 (I played that in '97 so maybe that makes me an oldschool fan? nevermind...) ,but this map that you're working on in my opinion is THE BEST and THE MOST DETAILED and TRUE reconstruction of the original R.P.D staton I've seen so far. I saw some other attempts in COD nazi zombies and L4D, but the game mechanics was destroying all the atmosphere of the survival horror. Now I recently play a lot in NMRIH, and maybe it's not the scariest game, but it takes you often to a point that you know, you don't have any ammo left and you're f***d now, so that's the survival aspect less to worry about, NMRIH has a lot of potential in this matter, it really makes you count every shot (which is quite similar to RE series), now for the horror atmosphere, it all depends on the map: the surroundings, ambient sounds/music, lighting, puzzles etc... And from what I've seen so far your project is going the right way, staying as close to the original as it can be done. I wish I had some modeling/programming skills to support You in this, but I don't. I've read most of posts in this topic and it seems You lack of support, which suprises me a lot. Who wouldn't want to be a part of something like this? Making the best map for NMRIH... ***sigh*** Anyway, please do not abandon this project and keep working on it. I wish You the best of luck to finish it as soon as possible! I'm counting on You, so please don't let me down ;] Cheers
